Lafley, people familiar with the matter said. Lafley came out of retirement last week to replace his handpicked successor, Robert McDonald, and try to revive the consumer products giant's fortunes. The company is working on a reorganization that will regroup its myriad consumer brands and products into four sectors, each headed by a president, people familiar with the plans said. The four individuals will report directly to Mr. Lafley and will have responsibility for the financial performance of their respective sectors, the people said. The four sector president spots are expected to be filled by executives who are currently two levels down from the CEO.
